Here’s A Really Good Book Deal. Seriously. Take A Look

If you’re planning a holiday getaway by the end of this year, you know you can’t load up your suitcase with hardcover books. Much better to carry 200 of your top TBR titles in a handy dandy Kindle. And, just in time for the holidays, my latest thriller, Fool Her Once, is available as a Kindle e-book for $0.99.

I must say, I’ve never done this sort of hard sell on my blog before. I know I’ve written a lot about FHO, but I don’t think I’ve ever said: Buy this book because it’s only 99 cents.

A Holiday Deal

I’m putting it out there now because my publisher said this Kindle deal is happening for the month of December because readers like holiday deals. I’m sure my publisher is right.

That’s why I used BookBrush to create the above graphic. Some factual notes: The background is from a photo I took at The Breakers in Palm Beach a couple of weeks ago while hubby and I were resting and relaxing over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Below, are some more photos from that R&R trip.

The food is great! The burgers at The Beach Club Bar are the best!

But the  kale and quinoa salad (above) is my favorite

Joe loves the comfy chaises poolside

And, I love the floral arrangements in the lobby. There’s a new one every week.

Please let me know what you think about big super sale deals on books. Do they entice you to buy even if you’re not sure about the author or content? Or do you know what authors and genres you like and will buy those whatever the price.

  1. Deals on price always entice me to take a chance on new authors. That being said though, the less I spend on a book the less likely I am to actually read it too. And as authors, making money at $0.99 is a tough slog. Trust me, I know 🙁

As always, your meals look divine 🙂

    1. I’ve usually only paid that low a price for e-books when I’ve thought about trying a new author or title, but didn’t want to “risk” the full Kindle price. Generally, however, like you Eldon, I tend to think that the less a reader pays, the more inclined he/she is to put it on the TBR pile and forget about it!

  2. I guess I am more of the “like the author/ whatever the price (within reason)” mode. 99 cents for a book sounds a little dubious to me….of course not your book, but in general. But who knows, maybe it works for easy gift giving. Would be interested to know how it works for you.🤞
