GoodBye Summer: We Had A Swell Time

Don’t get me wrong, I love Fall. Always loved it. Back-to-School (first for me, then for my son) meant buying new writing supplies. Still love buying new writing supplies.Β It’s also time to get out sweaters and scarves after sweating in 90-degree temperatures, and replacing the hibiscuses with pumpkins and chrysanthemums. Now That The Summer Folks Have Gone

Now that summer’s over on the East End of Long Island, there’s less traffic, there are parking spots galore, the beaches are deserted (almost); dog lovers can let their pets run at the water’s edge, and you can get a seat at your favorite bar, and a table at your favorite restaurant without a reservation.
